These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the online review platform trust24.org (hereinafter "Platform"). The operator of the Platform is the Online Marketing Division (hereinafter "Operator").
By registering on the Platform or using the services offered, the user agrees to these Terms and Conditions. Deviating terms of the user are not recognised.

The Operator reserves the right to expand, restrict or modify the range of features at any time. There is no entitlement to specific features.
Registration on trust24.org is free of charge. Truthful information must be provided during registration. Each individual may only create one user account.
The user is obligated to keep their login credentials confidential and to protect them from third-party access. The Operator must be notified immediately if misuse is suspected.
The Operator reserves the right to suspend or delete user accounts without stating reasons, particularly in the event of violations of these Terms and Conditions.
Users who write reviews must have their own, direct experience with the reviewed business. Reviews must be factual, truthful and based on personal experience.

By submitting a review, the user grants the Operator the non-exclusive, worldwide right to publish, distribute and use this content on the Platform and for marketing purposes.
The Operator is entitled to reject, edit or remove reviews without stating reasons if they violate these Terms and Conditions or appear legally problematic to the Operator.
Businesses can claim their listing on trust24.org in order to manage and update it. The claim requires that the applicant is authorised to represent the business.
After successful verification by the Operator, the owner receives the following rights:
Businesses are not permitted to manipulate, purchase or remove reviews. Violations will result in the immediate suspension of the profile.
The review widget may only be used for the user's own verified business profile. Use for third-party businesses or for deceiving consumers is prohibited.
The Operator reserves the right to discontinue or technically modify the widget service at any time. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of the widget.
Users agree not to misuse the Platform. In particular, the following is prohibited:
The Operator assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the reviews and business information published on the Platform. The content originates from users and is not fully verified.
The Operator is not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, unless such damages are attributable to gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of the Operator.
The Operator assumes no responsibility for external links or linked third-party websites.
The protection of personal data is important to us. Information on the collection, processing and use of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. Privacy Policy.
Users may delete their account at any time without stating reasons by contacting the Operator by email. Already published reviews may remain on the Platform but will be anonymised.
The Operator may suspend or delete the user account without notice in the event of serious or repeated violations of these Terms and Conditions.
The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on the Platform and take effect upon publication. Continued use of the Platform after publication of changes constitutes acceptance.
The law of the Republic of Costa Rica shall apply. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We are neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
